Our guest today is, past guest Christine Line, from Push Fit Studios.
Christine has the studio, helping people to transform themselves, and has been in this industry for 20 years. In the past 10 years she has noticed that in the beginning it was all about fitness, but then people wanted next level results. Fitness isn’t enough, but people want to make bigger changes. She wanted to introduce nutrition coaching. People are motivated initially, but then they are back to old habits. Lifestyle coaching became a natural next step.
If people want lasting change, they would have to change their mindset. They would have to decide to make the deep change. In high or peak performance lifestyle factors are considered. Sleep is very important, not just quantity, but quality. If you are waking up unrefreshed, you are not getting the quality of sleep you need. People are tired of being tired.
A lot of times people become complacent, everything can be “fine” but that can “suck”. People only change because they are sick and tired of the “pain” or because the “dream is so big”. Pain something from the outside to push people into action, or something happens from within, the dream, to pull people into action. The minute the sting of the pain is gone, the motivation changes, there is less intention or mindfulness. How many more dances do you want to have with pain?
How do you get reconnected? We lose sight, and lose focus. It is different for everyone, but we need to focus on things that are your unique talent. Become clear on your dream, and how to achieve it, and align ourselves to get there. We have to train our brains to think beyond what we are in right now. “Honour the struggle.” What’s my “why?”, what’s my “purpose”. Many people don’t know what they want. If you don’t know what you want, start with what you absolutely don’t want.
Action creates confidence, confidence comes from doing. We have to train ourselves to recall wins, and build confidence from there.
